Water bodies
Hello boys and girls,
You are very lucky, we have 4 days without school and you will have a lot of time to play and meet your friends.
Are you going anywhere?
I am not going to be here...can you guess where I am going? Clue: It is in the north of Spain!
Here you can read about water bodies:
OCEANS: The oceans are vast and deep bodies of water, They usually separate continents. They have salty water. There are five oceans on Earth.
SEAS: They are also big water bodies but are smaller than oceans. They are partly enclosed by a land mass and open into de ocean. For example: Mediterranean Sea.

LAKES: A lake is a water body surrounded by land on all
sides.
GULFS: A gulf is a large area of an ocean or a sea that is
partially enclosed by land.
BAYS: A bay
is a body of water, which is again partially enclosed by land but it is smaller
than a gulf.
WATERFALLS: Water falling from a height is usually called a waterfall.
STRAITS: A
strait is a narrow stretch of water which joins two larger water bodies.
LAGOONS: A
lagoon is a lake separated from the open sea by sand or rocks.
RIVERS: Rivers are large streams that flow over the
land.
Have a very nice looooooong weekend! You are awesome!
See you on Monday! :)

Weekend task
Hello girls and boys from Clash Royale class!
This week we have seen the water cycle again and have introduced how clouds are produced.
For homework and told you to read the following questions and study the answers a little bit. ;)
These are the questions:
How are clouds produced?
When the water vapour evaporates, it goes up and these water drops come together forming clouds.
What is the water cycle?
The water cycle is a process where water moves through four phases: evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection.
What is climate change?
Climate change is the Earth´s weather change. It is produced by releasing so many greenhouse gases (heat-trapping gases) to the atmosphere.
Have a nice weekend guys! :)

Water cycle
Hi everybody,
Today we have seen the water cycle. We have watched this video:
Today we have seen the water cycle. We have watched this video:
Also, we did this activity with the four different processes but some of you couldn´t finish it.
Here you can see the example and the definitions.
EVAPORATION: It is produced when water turns into water vapour (gas).
CONDENSATION: It takes plce when the tiny drops of water come together and form clouds. The water vapour turns into liquid.
PRECIPITATION: It is the release of water from the sky. It can be liquid or solid.
COLLECTION: It is produced when water falls into rivers, oceans, lakes and grounwaters.
If you finished it you can read the definitions at home.
For homework, you have to read about CLIMATE CHANGE and answer the questions. Remember in the last exercise you can write whatever you want using the words in the box.
Have a nice weekend,
Paula

Next clue...and homework!
Well done guys! You got the next clue. It was 12 seconds!
To open the envelope we received you needed to complete the worksheet about the time, and you did it!
Congratulations!
For the weekend homework you will have to practice how to answer these questions:
- What is latitude?
- What is longitude?
- What is a telescope?
- What shape is the Earth?
-What are the weather elements? (Definitions of them)
See you!

THE WEATHER
Hello everyone,
Today we are learning about the weather. The weather is the state of the atmosphere in a specific place.
There are four weather elements. Wind, temperature, humidity and precicipitation.
Wind is air in motion.
Temperature is the amount of heat in the air.
Humidity is the amount of water vapour in the air.
Precipitation is the release of water from the sky.
Bye bye from the class of 4ºC.

We are creating some great pictures about them.
Hope you are ready this week to learn about weather elements... just an easy question:
What layer of the atmosphere does weather occur in?

Have a nice weekend!
Hello boys
and girls,
This week
has been very exciting. We have practised what we know about the Earth and we
have received the third clue.
You can read
it below:
Do you remember the answer?
We did an
activity about meridians and parallels with Larissa and learnt the difference
between rotation and revolution.
Hugo made an
incredible experiment with balloons! It was fantastic!
Today we
have played a game about the Earth with points. Congratulations Dani Béjar,
Diego José, María, Joaquín and Elías. You were the winners! If you want to play
it again at home you can download it here:
For homework
we have some science questions. Remember you can read your summary to answer.
Have a nice
weekend! You have done a great job!

What do you like?
Good afternoon kids,
How are you?
Today we have read the reading book and it was about FOOD. Then we did a brainstorming about it and these were your ideas:
We practised the structure:

Hello
everyone!
Today is
Monday! We have lots of things to do this week… :)
Last
Friday, we were talking about the Earth and the main meridian…do you remember
its name? YES! Greenwich Meridian and Jaime investigated about it in SPAIN.
We learnt it passes through Huesca, Castellón and Alicante. Good job Jaime!
Here you can see the first part of the summary. We will give it to you tomorrow!

and ...ideas about how to learn it! You can see it BELOW
Jaime, Irene, Lorena, Haizea and Héctor have answered some questions brilliantly! Congratulations!
Some of the questions were:
- What are the names of the six continents?
- Is there more water or land on Earth?
- What is the name of the line that divides the Earth into two different parts? What are these parts?
- What is the name of the meridian that passes through London?
You can leave a COMMENT if you know the answers!
And it was Sara´s birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
